I was at the RRTF show. It seems that things got way out of proportion on this issue.

Bad words were dropped in the past by Finch in an interview on how they wanted to shoot David in the head and rip out his piercings. Let me quote from a 2002 interview which Strohmeyer making disparaging comments about Disturbed and threatened Draiman's life:
"I'd shoot him in the f---ing head," he told MeanStreet magazine. "I'd rip his stupid little piercings out. They're just cheesy. It bums me out because their music is terrible, and what they're all about, it's just sh--. Hopefully, all that music will die out soon."

Now what really happened if I may quote from Dan Donegan himself as posted on www.disturbed1.com:

I CONFRONTED RANDY TO ASK ABOUT HIS COMMENTS AND THEN DID WHAT ANY MAN SHOULD DO, DEFENDED MY FAMILY AND BAND FROM ANYONE WHO THINKS IT IS OKAY TO THREATEN SOMEONE\'S LIFE. WHEN ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE, IT WAS FINCH MEMBERS AND THIER CREW MEMBERS AGAINST ONLY ME, DAVID, AND MY MANAGER. WE DID WHAT WAS NECESSARY. THIS WAS NOT PRE-MEDIATED OBVIOUSLY, BECAUSE DAVID WAS WALKING HIS DOG WHEN HE CAME UP AND MIKE AND JOHN WERE NOT ANYWHERE NEAR. MY FIANCE WAS HOLDING MY 8 MONTH OLD DAUGHTER WHEN A FATHER OF A FINCH MEMBER PUSHED HER AND MY DAUGHTER SO HE COULD GET INVOLVED. I GUESS IT RUNS IN THE FAMILY AND SHOWS WHAT KIND OF MEN THEY ARE. HIS SON SHOULDN\'T RUN HIS MOUTH AND MAKE THREATS IF HE CAN\'T BE MAN ENOUGH TO STAND UP AND FIGHT THE BATTLE HE STARTED. AFTER THE CHAOS, THEY ASKED FOR SECURITY TO WALK THEM TO THEIR BUS WHERE THEY HID UNTIL THE STATE TROOPERS CAME TO ESCORT THEM OFF OF THE PROPERTY. FUCKING COWARDS. MOST OF THESE COMMENTS AND RUMORS ARE SO FAR OFF. THIS IS NOT THE NEW EAST COAST VS. WEST COAST OR EMO VS. METAL. IT IS A SIMPLE LIFE LESSON, THERE IS CONSEQUENCES FOR YOUR ACTIONS. WE JUST FINISHED THE BATTLE THEY STARTED. -DAN DONEGAN"

I was on the working crew at latrobe and I saw what happened behind the turntable before it turned so that the audience could see. Finch are lying. the guitarist did not politely tell dan it was joke and try to shake his hand.Just the opposite .More harsh words.Dan simply confronted them about their shit talking and when dans wife said something about what was being said The guy pushed DANS WIFE WHILE SHE WAS HOLDING THEIR BABY! Thats when david took action and the confrontation turned phisical.10 finch crew against 2 disturbed and Dave and Dan walked out unsctathed. Finche set went over like....well after one song you could hear a pin drop...they bombed.Then finch ran to their tour bus where sevendust were throwing rocks at their prevost and trying to get them to come out.They ran like cowards.Sevendust,and memebers of 2 openers were all going to punish them for touching a woman and her child. Finch arent men.They are whinny pussies that cant back up their smack talking.They are also apparently liars.David had 20,000 people chanting fuck finch so they were a laughing stock at the show.Its really funny to see how they are trying to fool everyone who was not there.But I saw what happened from the corner of backstage until security made everyone leave and i saw what happened by the buses.You are being lied to and dont believe it for a second!"
