thank you to amy (roadrunner) and tara buzzell (bullpen promo).

purity's failure: I was a little too busy gettign in to listen to these guys much. I must say they do better in the middle east upstairs. they kind of looked a little out of place up there on a stage.

cannae: The best live perfomance I've seen from these guys in a long time. Maybe it was the roudy crowd, but they on top of things. Though, it also could be that all the times I've seen them lately, they've gotten like 3 minutes to play.

unearth: not as much jumping as usual. Hopefully, they will have a new cd coming out since the EP. Though, I'm not sure, since they've been touring so much. Randy (log) came out and sang with them too.

lamb of god: stealign the show, log played an amazing hour (?) long set. they hit old songs, newer song, burn the priest songs, and some tracks of their yet-to-be-released CD (may 6th date I think). The new track just seemed to be a lot heavier. I guess we'll see when the CD comes out. That random kid that comes from maine or whatever to sing with them was there too.

killswitch engage: Aw howard jones. Probably the best thing about a kse show now is the commentary by howard between songs. on the subject of Ozzfest "if you were in a band like this, you'd play that show too" and then he brought up body count something like "yeah, this niggas gonna be the one to cover body count". (Granted, his best line ever didn't come from this show; "this is going out to all the brothers in the house" looks down at his arm "I guess that's me")

Pretty awesome show, but what was up with killswitch's sound? It sounded like maybe the PA blew or something...

Also, its pretty hectic that your are at like...every single show...when i think about it, when i have a photo pass i see you up front, when im in the crowd i see your big ass camera...pretty impressive :P

-Jonah, As long as we're all living..

weird, I thought I saw you at that show.
but I wasn't sure and you didn't look at me so I figured it wasn't you.
but I guess it was.
the vocals on the right side of the stage kept cutting out. guitar too I think.

hehe, didn't i say whats up to you and jeremy from mass concerts when you guys were walking through the crowd? ..maybe that was someone else

anyway, it was too bad, that was the first killswitch show i'd seen since summer and they sounded pretty terrible because of the sound problems. The rest of the bands sounded great though. But it was kind of obvious purity's failure didn't know what to do with themselves on a huge stage..

Heh, I saw you snapping away rev. I thought I would say hi....then again, you probably wouldn't know who the fuck I am.

Anyways, it was a pretty cool show overall. I didn't really like LOG on cd, but they just blew me away live. The double bass was just brutal! Also, Unearth and Cannae were awesome as usual, and Killswitch were still pretty good despite the fucked up sound.

All in all it was a good show and I had a fun time moshing it up.
