Maybe it's because I read the book first, but this movie was fucking terrible. Everything that made that story what it was was completely lost. There is so much that was left out that was integral to the reason he was "unbroken". It wasn't about him holding up a piece of wood in the face of his captors. The whole "unbroken" aspect had more to do with his life after the war. Fuck Angelina Jolie, she couldn't direct a commercial.
