I'm seeing EYEHATEGOD and Pig Destroyer tonight in the French Quarter at a place called One Eyed Jacks. Cool spot. cool vibe. The place is packed and sold out. (I shouldn't have gotten in, but I said I came in from RI and I squeezed through)

Pig destroyer were pretty solid, although I have some mixed opinions normally. Really enjoyed it though

They have red velvet curtain up, and eyehategod are sound checking. I was looking forward to seeing them play in their hometown ever since I moved here.

Skinny 20 year olds stage diving is one thing - meaty 40 year olds is another . The whole band snickers.

Mike seems to be in a good 'glad to be home' mood

They're playing 30$ bag and people are toking up

The mix was muddy for Pig, but eyehategod sound great.

Great show, they played my favorites. I think I'm going to wander to bourbon st and get a burger

So weird. I got a beer during their last song, and in this city you can just leave with your drink. Fantastic.
