The acclaimed Italian progressive/atmospheric metal quartet NERO DI MARTE have unveiled an advance stream of their sophomore effort "Derivae" prior to its worldwide release on Oct. 27 (North America/UK/EU) and Nov. 1 (G/A/S)! You can listen to the album in its entirety now at RevolverMag.com. http://www.revolvermag.com/news/nero-di-ma...rte-premiere-new-album-derivae.html
Praised for its "supremely thick, groovy, heavy Meshuggah/Gojira-ish yet relentlessly focused riffage" (MetalSucks), the hour-long, seven-track effort was recorded at Studio 73 with Robert "Paso" Pasini (Ephel Duath) using 100% analog with no digital post-processing. The band describes the album's concept as “tragically searching for something that maybe isn’t there…letting yourself go and becoming swayed by the unknown.”

And here I'm wondering how much would you have to pay me to listen to an hour of "supremely thick, groovy, heavy Meshuggah/Gojira-ish yet relentlessly focused riffage." At least $18 |
