Anyone ever screw around with Eventide pedals?

I really want that Space pedal..

Or what about Strymon pedals?
http://www.strymon.net/products/

Looking for a really good reverb pedal for my synths.. But am waiting to shell out money for one.
Any recommendations?

Any recommendations for boosting volume levels for leads/solos?

toggletoggle post by Snowden at May 14,2014 2:56pm
Off the top of my head I know Tech 21 makes (made?) a decent reverb that will actually boost your signal. It's not the most pretty/ethereal-sounding reverb but it's very adjustable and will go from subtle to internal feedback. Plus the boost thing, which I haven't seen many reverb pedals do.

This is the one I've used, there may be a newer version now:

Or were you not talking about reverb at all? If so, I'd go with an EQ pedal but make sure to put it after your distortion stage. So, in the effects loop if you're using amp distortion.

Thanks. I would just be using amp's distortion. More for blues/rock then metal.

I use a MAXON OD808 Pedal for a boost. It's an overdrive pedal, but makes my tone sound better and louder. Great pedal.

cool! i'll check that one out too.

YOU GUYS DON'T NEED MORE PEDALS, JUST MORE STRINGS ON YOUR INSTRUMENTS

If you're not using a ton of amp distortion, you can put the pedal up front and it should work fine. Lots of people will use an overdrive pedal for this (like that Maxon, or any other member of the Tube Screamer extended family) and just turn the drive all the way down. So you increase the level without adding too much distortion, and those pedals also usually boost the midrange a bit which is good for this kind of thing.

I used to use one of these, fairly cheap and they give you more options than a basic tubescreamer clone.

ITT: No one asked this fag what he uses for his commodore 64 dungeon synth effects. Go back to the cave homofagus.

Dagon/ inquisition gave me the best volume boost pedal . it is a clean volume overdrive that has no distortion. Can be used for Purevolume boost only! And has a great lot of low end as well. It is a RC BOOSTER by xotic effects.

And now the homofagus is speaking of his guitar when he clearly stated his synths.

Somebody had asked for recommendations for a boost for their leads, so I gave one. You're either slightly retarded with no reading comprehension, or you're busting my balls.

Hello Aril,

I see you are having issues with your lack of direct info in your OP. Not at all suprised at all.

im not answering any questions for you until you tell me you're using a passable amp rig now and not a solid state hughes & kettner.

i would assume that you've already picked something up, but if you want a great verb, check out Empress' verb pedal. Strymon does make a great one too.

I like their pedals, hoping to get a cthulhu fuzz next year.

toggletoggle post by chrome dome at Nov 15,2014 4:36pm
Agreed. I like the look of their amp heads. Coolest looking metal amp to come out since Madisons.

toggletoggle post by MotleyGrue at Nov 16,2014 4:11pm
Ok fuck &%W#$@ I just learned about Madisons.

toggletoggle post by Snowden at Nov 17,2014 12:30pm
Madison just seemed so goofy, like they'd spent way more time on their visuals than on actually engineering their pretty unremarkable gear.

It looked cool in the youtube videos, need to check it out moar.
