Pharmakon are opening and what i've heard by them on Spotify is fucking great. Slightly harder time finding music by Cut Hands, since there's the much more popular Cut Off Your Hands. Cut Hands are decent though.

I really hope this show draws a good sized crowd.

Just got home. That was amazing.

I fucking loved Pharmakon. Talked to Margaret for a bit, she cut her set short because one of her keyboards broke the other night and because the microphone kept being bullshitty. But I loved it while it lasted.

Cut Hands was both fun and disappointing. I didn't really listen to him much before the show, but I had higher hopes considering William Bennett's history with Whitehouse. It was fun though. His set had the opposite problem of Pharmakon's though, just a touch too long.

Godflesh was great. The set started off shitty for me because I was surrounded by drunks who kept yelling at each other, but they filtered out after three or four songs. Pretty fucking great shit.

Infinitely happy I went to this instead of Carcass the other day, especially considering how much of a joke i'm sure the Carcass audience was. Tonight's crowd was solid.

Pharmakon was good. She was offsetting and intimidating. More intimidating than most metal bands I've seen lately. Musically, what she was doing was really basic, but she had the creativity and passion to make it something special.
Cut Hands went on way too long. I dug it for about 10 minutes and then it started to sound the same to me. It was like hard trance with African rhythms. Still not sure what to think of it other than there could have been an act that better fit the bill.
Godflesh was crushing. Sounded amazing. The mix was great and they absolutely nailed everything.

to anyone who even likes a song or two from Godflesh and missed this show, you are a fool. This was fucking perfect in every way, JKB doesn't look a day over 20 and plays like it too. They could have been miming and just playing a cd and I would believe it, it was so goddamn good.

And the opening bands were fucking awful. They made so much noise and achieved absolutely nothing. Cut Hands just kept going on and on and on and on and on.

Pharmakon is something I could see people loving or hating. I think had her keyboard and shit been working, that it would've been cooler. But I can definitely get why someone wouldn't like her.

Cut Hands got old after like ten minutes, if that. haha Would've preferred Prurient like the original tour was supposed to get.

yeah Nails and Prurient would have been far better than that bullshit.

Parts of it, mainly because he used some pretty weird drum beats and changed them often enough. It went waaay too long.

Also Godflesh is playing with House of Low Culture later at the end of the tour. Wish I could see that.
