I can't sleep at night cause my knee is constantly cramping all night and I have to walk it off for about 5-10 minutes every 15 minutes or so. Today, the cramps are all the way down my shin. Any ideas?

It hurts when I stay still and it hurts when I'm moving.

Been having similar issues, knee pain + my calf feeling as if its constantly cramped, going on 2 weeks now, think I need to have it checked.

Iron deficiency and dehydration will do that.
Try more dicks and abortions.

Potentially magnesium deficient too. Try this stuff http://naturalvitality.com/natural-calm/

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jul 7,2013 5:11pm
I've been taking mega doses of magnesium for the past 2 days, eating bananas, and taking a multivitamin. Pain killers aren't doing jack. Muscle relaxers only work in putting me to sleep.

You're old, shit breaks easier now. I am also old and started my 4th of July by putting my lower back out while brushing my teeth (granted I benched heavy the day before, but still).

You probably need to give that insanity workout foolishness a rest.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jul 8,2013 12:03pm
Except I had this to a lesser extent Before doing insanity and it went away while doing insanity. Then I took a couple weeks off and it came back and now I can't get back into insanity cause it hurts too much. This weekend, I could barely walk. Which sucks cause it hurts when I don't move it too. Driving is the worst.

Well anyway, you sound fucked up and will probably have to go to your quack. Try not to let them send you to a surgeon, they just want to cut a 'nilla.

Long term, start on a glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM supplement, as well as an Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3) supplement. Helps lube old joints.

Also, vodka.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jul 8,2013 1:54pm
yeah, I just went to have them look at my back so I'm not sure about going back. Driving/Sleeping sucks... not looking forward to a hour drive back to NH today.

I started taking the magnesium supplements this weekend. We will see how that goes. I want to get back into insanity asap and mix it with weights.

Tell them you think you have AIDS, and they'll be relieved it's just a knee.

Getting old is tough, I am always getting injured way more now than before. I also recommend Glucosamine, I have taken it daily in the past and it has helped. Also alleve too.

We can tell from the condition of the body that he has been here a long time. I will interview the family.
