Damn it. Deciples of Christ only played for a d few minutes so I missed them. I got down to the sound stage after asthma castle just in time to have them get off stage.

Days is speeding by. Running back and forth to see awesome bands.

Anhedonist had some really killer parts, but some really slow parts that lost my interest live.

Anhedonist just played the best set of this fest. Shut up Pepelis. They were amazing. 10/10

Melvin started good, but then played way way way too long.

Revenge is actually pretty cool live. The dude from Emperor is playing a bunch of girlfriend metal. Play I am the black wizard or shutup fagget.

Iniquity was a huge disappointment. They were one of the bands I was most excited about, but their set sucked. One of the guitar amps sounded like it was putting out a lot of ground loop noise, and the guitarist plugged into said amp fucked up every song, to the point where he stopped playing for a few seconds to see what the other guitarist was doing. The drummer fucked up a song and they stopped playing it completely for about 10 seconds, went back into it, then the drummer fucked it up again. To top it off, the mix sucked. All I could hear was bass, vocals, and amp noise. Seeing Iniquity live is better than not seeing them, but that was bittersweet given how shitty they were. I was also bummed that they played nothing from Grime and only one song from 5 Across The Eyes. No merch either.

Exactly. I was so disappointed with Iniquity's set and I was really looking forward to seeing them too. Biggest letdown of the weekend for me, aside from the shitty security fuckheads. I heard absolutely no snare or ride at all and the toms and kick were soooo fucking loud. I tried powering through and watching their whole set but i had to walk away it was that bad. And then Broken Hope on that same stage after them sounded amazing. Full and thick with a good mix. That stage and the tent stage were definitely hit and miss sound wise.

^So much ugh.

Backstage went on lockdown before Down went on. Why? IDK something to do with security for Down, or Phil. PITA couldn't get out of backstage area and no one could get in or go anywhere near one side at all. They wouldn't even let anyone stand by the back of the stage. Most people had to stay behind stage 2 until it was deemed ok about 30 seconds before Down.

The rumor going around the crowd was that someone sent Phil a death threat and that's why bullet belts were banned on Saturday and security was heightened.

Down was meh. Being stuck backstage with nothing to do before they went on for some Phil drama wasn't my favorite thing ever but whatever.
