If you wanted to do an actual Nirvana reunion why wouldn't you have Dale Crover play drums and Dave Grohl sing and play guitar?

Not that I'm analyzing so far into this, but I'm not sure this is intended as a "Nirvana reunion". While it's true that Dave and Kris(t) are reuniting, that's as far as it goes. The collaboration of the two with Paul is just a star collaboration, not a band reunion with Paul actually 1:1 filling in for Kurt. ...I think.

Well, yeah, they're not going to write an album together but the thought of someone like McCartney playing Nirvana songs, in the place of Cobain? Just seems unusual to me.
