Let's see if this pans out.

I really am not a fan of Meshuggah, but I love me some AAL and Intronaut and have yet to see either band despite how often both tour.

Me either. Stellar bill though.

Obligatory Meshuggah is boring post.

I wish I could've seen Meshuggah in like 1995. Now, forget it.

I also saw some live video of Animals As Leaders with no bass player and it seemed almost like a comedy band.

In conclusion: rough bill.

Again never got into Meshuggah on recording but I'm open to being converted if they're good live

Agreed. Seen em twice and was not disappoint.

Meshuggah are a bunch of hackers who program their instruments and don't even play them, Animals As Leaders is wanky wankery, Intronaut is boring live.

I just realized this isn't a thread about an actual shitty tour. It's a thread about a rumored shitty tour. WTF, this site is really going to shit.

i wasn't really really much of a fan of meshuggah till i saw them at metalfest 2004..i think? I was totally blown away at the sound they had, crystal clear and crushing.

Well, a date was already confirmed. So it's probably a shitty tour. That's usually how it works, bands don't tend to book single random shitty one off shows.

You're too negative. What you state about Meshuggah is preposterously false. Def one of the best live bands ive seen and their new material is very good and heavy.

It was supposed to be false. LOL @ you.

Ok? How was anyone supposed to tell that you were kidding? Its hard to tell because you rip on so many bands.

Meshuggah > SFU

The mere fact that I said they're hackers who don't play their own instruments should be enough to at least hint I was jesting. I'm not a Meshuggah fanboy, but I enjoy and respect them for what they are. The other bands don't do anything for me.

Why does AAL always play house of blows? ugh.

toggletoggle post by Spence at Nov 27,2012 3:33pm
Apparently they didn't learn their lesson from the cops last time.

toggletoggle post by largefreakatzero at Nov 27,2012 3:37pm
I hope the cops do a better job this time and beat the shit out of that entire stupid fucking band.

Haven't missed a Meshuggah show since they started hitting the east coast back in 98. No need to start now.

Last time they were in town was at Royale with Thrice (hence getting beat up at the Tam). Before that was the HOB with Between the Something or Other and before that was Palladium with Thursday and Underoath.
