Ross bumping the UNHOLY thread prompted me to make a thread for the Portuguese band DESIRE, since I've been listening to them again lately.

Basically I don't know anyone who likes or have even heard of these guys. The only person I would expect to know of them would probably be John Dwyer. Really great stuff, especially if you're into early/classic Peaceville Doom bands. I'd also recommend them to people into Thergothon and The Gathering's "Always" record.

I bought "locus horrendous" from Dwyer at metal fest in 03 I think (suffocation was playing that night) after never being able to find it for sale anywhere for a few months after it came out. Love this band.

The only thing I've ever heard is the 'Pentacrow' cd I have, which is pretty good. I remember buying it initially because there is a Candlemass cover. That track you posted is pretty awesome so far, will have to check out more.
