The ozzfest itself might have turned into a metal show, but that hasnt detered waaf from making the event worse for people by threatening to add one of these bands.

Burn in Silence is actually good.

What do they sound like? Granted I haven't heard all of these bands before, but figuring how many metal shows I book and how terrible the bands I am familiar with on this list are, I just assumed they all sucked.

I would say that they are like Shadows Fall with Killswitch influence... but that would be unfair... they have a keyboard player if i remember correctly... pretty good considering im not a total fan of the style.

I wish the ozzfest had a better second stage line up, when Lamb of God is the best band on the second stage, you know the other bands are beyond pathetic. Maybe I can pump some iron when lamb of god plays, and then act really tough.

I will probably spend the whole day evangelizing people to my cause.

i heard that blind by noon song on waaf today after they got interviewed on the air. it's the same generic riffs i hear on every song by a local band with aaf support. the DJs were blasting other radio stations for only playing ozzfest bands in the days leading up to the show. the only band on ozzfest this year that aaf plays consistently is black sabbath, and i guess bls and lacuna coil as of 9 or 10 months ago. they like to make it sound like they are so much more genuine than all the other stations. boo to that.
