"BUT OMG IT GREW ON ME, ITS SUCH A GOOD ALBUM FUCK YOU."

Give me a fucking break. it's a solid Swedish melodic death album, that would have been way better if it was released in the 90s when that sound was more fresh.

I have no idea what you listened to. Forgotten Woods' The Curse of Mankind has very similar production to some old Burzum, and the vocals were similar to Varg's. Very throaty screams with heart and soul thrown behind it.

World painted Blood was more disappointing to me cause everyone claimed it was the return to form record and that Jeff was writing it not Kerry. Pantera vulgar display of power.

when i was in high school this album came to my attention, and everyone loved it. So naturally i eventually bought it(kazza wasn't around yet and i was still sporting a dos computer so sampling wasn't an option). I liked cowboys from hell at the time, and i was told vdop was even better.

Whoever said Bethlehem non dark Metal is retarded. Suicide and Dictius De Necare are 2 of the better, most original albums to come out of the entire 90's let alone the bands catalog. Give me a fucking break.

For me it would have to be Agalloch. Whatever that shitty new album is called.

Frank, it was me. And yes, I think Dark Metal is their best work. Big fucking deal, go cry about it.

Also, I do enjoy Dictius a lot, but Dark Metal holds more of a emotional connection to me because the shit I was going through when I first bought it. Needless to say, I have all 3 and spin them regularly a year. Dark Metal holds more value to me. Let's cry together about it.

Meow meow meow, I'd say all those rare Slayer LPs I hid among during he fire. I didn't get a chance to listen to them but their flame retardant abilities were most disappointing! Meow meow meow!
