best produce section ever. japanese sushi lady that knows what you want. sumo mandarins. random beer at every corner. SOUTHERN TIER 2x MILK STOUT + BRICK OF DUBLINER = $15. and prices are INSANE for all the normal shit you need at le supermarché. artisan bakery, deli, produce producers. this place is above and beyond the best supermarket experience. seriously check it out, i have no idea if there's one outside of shrewsbury or more in the area.

I equate this store to an Amusement Park of Food and Booze. Goin there this week to pick up a metric shit ton of corned beef for this weekend.

i have heard good things about Wegman's. the only one i know of is at the new Northboro Crossing. but i thought that there was a ruling made where supermarkets can't carry beer?

price chopper on sunderland road has booze too. hell, goretti's in millbury did/does.

i don't know how wegman's does it or anything about their business really, but their craft beer prices are better than dedicated liquor stores and people that worked the counters didn't look pissed off. as big as it is, is doesn't feel like wal-mart.

The wife and I are going on Sunday to purchase fine italian meats and cheeses.

ah, i just read that a compromise was met where supermarkets can apply for liquor licenses gradually over the next decade.

craft beer at low prices is all i needed to hear.

It may just be close enough to the NH line where a law was passed that if you're within so-many miles of a state that can carry beer in grocery stores, then your grocery store can carry beer as well.

There's a Hannaford's in Dracut MA that has beer and liquor.

While these grocery stores don't have all the beer, sounds like this place is similar to Dave's markets in Rhode Island. Wegman's probably has better prices too if I had to guess.
