This band gets my seal of approval as actual metal.

My Dying Bride fans could learn a thing or two from Pallbearer on how to be heterosexual and how to listen to real metal.

Really great band. Refreshing to hear a new doom band who arn't just retro gayness. It might be rooted in ye doom of olde, but they've got they own thing going on.

Still pissed I was too hungover to catch them at Rites of Darkness.

I read a description of them that said they mixed in influences from 70s prog and peaceville doom, so I'll give them a listen.

I did end up listening to the album and it was great.
