Fresh off a South American tour, Dying Fetus has now announced headlining and co-headlining North American tour dates. The tour sponsored by Metal Sucks and Dead End Threads kicks off February 26th and runs through March 14th.
The first leg of the tour will see Dying Fetus headlining with support coming from Job For a Cowboy, Volumes, and Last Chance to Reason. The second leg will feature a co-headlining bill with Dying Fetus and The Faceless. Support will come from Goatwhore, Volumes and Last Chance to Reason.
Dying Fetus is currently working on the new album, entitled "Reign Supreme" which is set to be released in mid 2012 through Relapse Records. The band will also be touring North America this Spring as part of the Metal Alliance Tour with Devildriver, The Faceless, Job For A Cowboy, 3 Inches of Blood, Impending Doom and Wretched. The tour kicks off March 15th in Austin, TX as a part of the SXSW Music Festival and runs through April 21st, circling back to Houston, TX.

Goatwhore is a very aptly named band for a group of people that are on EVERY tour.

Not that I give a shit about this tour but 3x more people would go to the palladium than the pvd social club. That place will close and change its name again sooner than later.

Not to mention 3x more people would actually fit inside the Palladium anyway.

I'll be at the PVD show no matter how many other people go. I'm from Row Die Land and I ain't drivin up to Woostuh. Oh yea plus The palladium fucking sucks the lint out of my hairy nutsack.

The only reason I know about this shitty show is because my other guitar player is going to this instead of practicing with my crappy band. I hate JFAC and can only listen to one Dying Fetus song a month without getting bored/annoyed. Fuck it, I'm going coyote hunting Sunday night. The chance of spilling predator blood > 500 slam riffs.

I will post plenty later. The room is like a function room off of the main bar. This whole place is pretty small and 1/2 the crowd is people up front taking pictures. Just kind of a weird camera/person ratio.

The tour package is starting up now.

Zombie fighter has a huge crowd here with their families and all. I kind of feel like dying fetus is going to play for no one.

Also it would be impossible to post a picture because this is the darkest venue anyone could have ever invented. Every time I snap a photo it is like I'm casting magic missle against the darkness.

Fit for an autopsy played. Interesting. Lots of technical issues, but they were able to pull it off. The crowd was psyched.

Last chance to reason: awesome dudes. awesome band. Great to see kids going crazy for them. Plus the room was full.

Volumes: awful.

Job for a cowboy: I threw out all preconceived notions of this band since I haven't heard them in years. Verdict: those notions were right. Not a good band.
