For Immediate Release

ZOMBI SIGN TO RELAPSE RECORDS

Pittsburgh, PA multi-instrumental duo ZOMBI have signed to Relapse Records. The progressive group will release their new full length, Cosmos, in August, 2004.

ZOMBI (bassist / multi-instrumentalist Steve Moore and drummer / multi-instrumentalist A.E. Paterra) create boundless, leering soundscapes inspired by filmmakers such as Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci and the musical scores of John Carpenter and GOBLIN. The duo weave an ever-changing series of rich, decaying analog synth waves through an organic, driving bass and drum foundation, creating chilling moods and atmospheres. Recorded at Pittsburgh's El Studio and Nightmare City Studios and mastered at Visceral Sound by Scott Hull (AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, PIG DESTROYER), ZOMBI's Relapse Records / Release Entertainment debut Cosmos is a powerful work of eerie, relentless rhythms and futuristic score that shares as much headspace with the late-night sci-fi explorer as the space rock adventurer.

Additionally, ZOMBI will contribute music to the upcoming Sonic Monkey Films indie-slasher film Home Sick. The film features performances by notorious genre-favorites Bill Moseley (Texas Chainsaw Massacre II, House of 1,000 Corpses), Tom Towles (Night of the Living Dead -1991, Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer) and Tiffany Shepis (Tromeo & Juliet). Home Sick will be released this on DVD this fall by Synapse Films.

Updated ZOMBI information will be made available via the Relapse Records website: www.RELAPSE.com, and the ZOMBI website: www.ZOMBI.us.

I'm more excited about the actors in that movie than I am of Zombi. They're just a Goblin rip off.

I don't like Zombi though (the band) I found out a little while ago that they got signed to Relapse and I was like "sweet name, must be good" But they will never be as good as Goblin or Fabio Frizzi.

FULCI LIVES!
