i just got home and read that on blabbermouth. what a shock. i was never a bathory fan, just couldn't get into the music, but that really sucks. sorry to any of you on this site who loved his music. that's a shame. |

crazy. i haven't heard nordland 1, or 2, but i hear good things. everything after "twilight of the gods" was pretty much crap. "blood on ice" was cool but it was an old recording released in 96. the first six albums are classic. the first four albums especially. RIP quarthon. i raise my glass to you for the influence on me, and all my music.
