TIS THE SEASON.

So, Sam Adams is the only I've dug into thus far.

Sam Adams Winter Ale - Wheat beers typically make my vagina purr but doubles and triples make me cock rock hard. Currently accepting this as the standard for the year.

The mix 12 pack had a killer Chocolate Bock and a ripping Coffee Stout.
Holiday Porter is solid but nothing lifechanging if you dig porters.
The Fizwig Ale is another selection worthy of mix 12 packs mainly cause I'd never buy it in a 6.

I'd buy sixers of Fezziwig. I agree, the Classic Winter 12er is decent, NO MORE LAMB DICK. I do see that in a six pack though. yuck. Cherry Wheat I dig

The Vixen is mighty fine. Haven't had the Double IPA yet, maybe tonite
The Vixen. An average Chocolate Bock with some nice roasty flavors. The finish is what makes this unique. About 5-10 seconds after the first gulp, a subtle heat comes up the throat and lingers just below the neck. And after just one, I feel stoned, like the stoned you get from spicy food. I give it a B+, just because Chocolate Bocks aren't my thing. If they did something like this to a Belgian? That would rule

this shit is the BOMB. Belgian with a hoppy finish, SO good.

i really enjoy the new additions to the winter pack this year...

chocolate bock and coffee are good for one a piece on a given night but each taste very good, and i cant get enough of coffee beers

old fezziwig, can't understand why people like this... way to spicy, cant stomach more than a few sips.

winter... least favorite of the seasonals actually equally meh to the summer ale.

bottom line, i buy this before a 12 of winter

Is it just me or are the winter lagers from sam's worse than usual? they used to be 6.2% but it doesn't say on the label anymore.

Brooklyn Dark Chocolate Stout - 10% yummy goodness. Highly recomended unless you hate chocolate.

Magic Hat Winter Wonderland Variety Pack - Includes Encore IPA which is pretty good. i dont like IPA's. Revel a Vanilla Porter. Delicious. Howl a dark lager. Pretty good but only 4.6%.

Vermonster - This isnt a winter beer but it was $8 for a bomber so I figured I'd mention it.. 110 pounds of malt per barrel then dry hopped. Almost reminded me of what a chocolate ipa would taste like. VERY flavorful beer. Impossible to tell it's 10%

Troegs Brothers Java Head - Not technically a winter beer but I love stouts and porters in the winter so deal with it. 7.5% Excellent brew.

BBC Coffeehouse Porter - One of my favorite beers. Think it's 6.8% You will poop mud the next morning.
