To the death: very happy to see graham's first show. The music was really good, but they need more of an endng to the songs. Their first show so they will figure it out. The music was bolt thrower like with at the gates sounding drumming.
I've been trying to figure out what graham's vocals sound like.. the definitely sound like they havea thick beard.
Oi! Just almost fell in a puddle from a full drink dumped on the floor when the bassist went into the crowd. Imho the best mastodon record of 2011 will be whatever riffcannon puts out. More rocky/fun than mastodon, but really the direction I wish they were rather then hatfield.
The best isis track of 2011 is the new track these guys posted to band came, obv. Where were these guys when it was cool to play farm house basement shows in complete darkness. They would not only shake a century of dirt for the ceiling, but mostlikely compromise the very foundation of the building. So good.
I still think that moons sounds a lot like Hum, but heavier. Funny seeing matt playing such mature music since more than just about anyone in the new england scene, I have seen that dude grow up into the find young man that he is. god I'm old.
