Arch Enemy is the worst band in metal.

I don't have any Arch Enemy albums (including the first couple) and have never felt a need to get any. But I grudgingly admit they're a good live band.

If the price weren't so high, I would consider going out to this, leave after the the first two bands, and come back to see the later Bobfest bands.

Nay Senor Cage. Even the dimmest Revolver reader can see through Dez Falafel's cloying switch from nu-metal to their current sound.

Arch Enemy is truly awful, coasting on the asinine gimmick of "OMG A GIRL IN A BAND! I BET SHE'S HOT!" and a songwriter who's sole achievement was playing on Carcass' worst album 18 years ago (Heartwork's the worst Carcass release in that its success laid the groundwork for Swansong).

Furthermore, nobody would like Chthonic if they weren't Taiwanese. If you're a fan of them you should be listening to fucking Cradle of Filth and Anorexia Nervosa because it's the same frilly shirt keyboard soloing cheese. And if you like Chthonic but hate CoF you're just a weeaboo buttdart.

I like all three of those bands. Flame away.

i dunno man. i like Chthonic...got one of their recent releases and its sounds pretty solid. i like how the keys have a hint of their country's native sound to them. wouldn't mind seeing them live.. Now, Cradle of Filth on the other hand is actually a really good band ruined by Dani Filth. his vocals are the only thing that make the songs completely unlistenable to me. especially live. fucking nails on a chalkboard.
