Los Angeles traditional heavy metal act WHITE WIZZARD are due to kick off a North American tour tonight, June 9th, at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood.

WHITE WIZZARD will be joining reactivated Bay Area thrashers FORBIDDEN for the three-week tour, along with REVOCATION and HAVOK.

WHITE WIZZARD bassist and founding member JON LEON comments:

"The band is in heavy rehearsals and firing on all cylinders. We have never sounded better. We have our work cut out for us, as we are going out with three amazingly talented groups. It's OK because they're playing Rocko's in October with Firewind, Arsis, and Nightrage.

EDIT, This Revocation/Forbidden/Havok lineup is a better lineup though.

"Snub" New England? Were they offered a show here and turned it down?
Otherwise, bands will play wherever they're offered a viable show that fits in the schedule.

That schedule is watertight, looks like there was no room for it.
