"Last Days Here" is showing at the Independence Film Festival of Boston on April 29th and 30th. This movie debuted at SXSW and is playing as part of the IFFB before its release.
"Rock legend Bobby Liebling has been churning our genre-defining and critically acclaimed hard rock for over thirty-six years. Drug addiction, band break-ups, bad record deals, jail terms, chronic illness, and various acts of self-destruction continue to plague him, yet he still tries to claw his way to the top. LAST DAYS HERE chronicles the triumphs and downfalls of this underground icon, and leads the viewer on his wild ride. Experience his daily struggle to survive as he attempts not only to succeed, but also to survive."
Bobby is a fucking awesome dude, everyone is going to thoroughly enjoy this.
In Finland, after Pentagram finished, encored, took their bows, the security was tight getting into their dressing rooms, as they were getting mobbed. The head guy was like, "INTO THE DRESSING ROOM NOW! Okay, one, two three, four, that's the band, get this door closed and locked."
I was backstage, Bobby pointed at me and said, "That guy too, he's a friend of mine...", so security grabbed me as well and brought me into their dressing room to hang with him. I had just met him on the first day of tour ten days earlier.
Yes. A poster on a message board's friend knows this cousin on facebook who is related to the father of some girls facebook friend's cousin who walked by him when he was buying hamburgers at in an out burger.
Worst/most interesting part was Bobby's gross fucking forearm.
Hardcore.
And yeah, I had to turn away.

it was awesome waiting an hour for them to come out on stage...both times they played at club hell!!!
but seriously..when they came on i had a smile ear to ear!
I finally watched this last night. It changed my perception of bobby. I always saw him as a complete maniac, but he seems like a genuinely nice person who had some issues to overcome. I can't believe he survived all the years of drugs, but I'm glad he did. Best documentary i've seen in a while.
