CANNIBAL CORPSE guitarist update from the band!
Guitarist Jeremy Turner (ex-Origin) will be replacing Jack Owen (who quit earlier this month) on our upcoming tours. It is too early to say if he will wind up being the permanent replacement, but so far he is doing very well learning the songs. Jeremy is a dedicated guitarist and a dedicated death metaller, as fans of his previous work already know. Learning 18 songs in less than 3 weeks is a tough job, and we want to thank Jeremy for working hard to get the job done.

"The Headbanger's Ball tour got us so much attention from press and otherwise. We aren't really used to it, so it was pretty cool. We are getting ready for our short Canadian tour. We are really excited to be joined by Burnt By The Sun and A Perfect Murder. We also have a show I London coming up. I heard that it was almost sold out, which is amazing. We haven't been in Europe since Spring 2002 so we are excited to go back, we only wish we could do more than one show."

"We have been added to the Shadow's Fall tour this summer. Some dates have already been confirmed, but more will be coming soon. We also confirmed Hellfest on June 23rd. We will be playing a ton of festivals this summer including Cornerstone Fest, Purple Door Fest, Sonshine Fest, and the Aggressive Music Fest with Converge, Ill Nino, Candiria and a ton of others. "We are continuing to rehearse, write and put stuff together for the new record. We'd much rather continue to tour for "Fused Together In Revolving Doors", but we need to write a new record. We'll be going into the studio late summer, but we haven't lined up a producer or a studio yet. We're really planning on just taking the advance and recording it ourselves on a 4-track."

CATTLE DECAPITATION banned in Germany!
On July 13th, the new CATTLE DECAPITATION album Humanure will see the light of day! Be prepared for another nine songs (+ intro and outro) of brutal Death Metal with Grindcore influences. The biggest improvement is the addition of some eerie and epic melodies that will haunt you to the death! Beautiful!

The new album Humanure starts off where their debut album on Metal Blade To Serve Man left off, dealing with the rape of the earth, it's natural resources, and the unjust treatment of animals.

Recorded with producer Bill Metoyer (Slayer, WASP, Six Feet Under) Humanure will feature the latest addition to the band, drummer Michael Laughlin. The band parted ways with drummer David Astor in May of 2003 due to his inability to live up to the obligations of touring and regular necessities of the band.

Once again, the cover artwork is causing some trouble. Our German distributor SPV refuses to put this album into the stores, therefore in Germany Humanure will be available via mail order only!

"LIZZY BORDEN" GUITAR PLAYER IN FATAL AUTO ACCIDENT MAY 17TH
Alex Nelson, guitarist for metal band Lizzy Borden, perished in a head-on collision the afternoon of May 17th, 2004.

Alex Nelson joined Lizzy Borden, after replacing Tony Matuzak, on guitar before the recording of The Murderess Metal Roadshow. Alex maintained his place in the band and went on to tour with Lizzy all over the world. He loved the music and loved the band, but most of all he loved life.

Alex will be truly missed by all that had the gift of his friendship. We shall miss him dearly, as he was just starting his new life with his wife Angel Nelson. Recently moving to Palm Springs, the couple had purchased their new home and starting a rental business for the condo they had also purchased. They were living their dream life together only to end in a heartbreaking tragedy.

This Sunday (5/23) the band Starwood (all Lizzy Borden members, including Lizzy) will be performing at the House of Blues on Sunset Strip with label mates King's X. They will be performing a few Lizzy Borden songs in tribute to their lost brother.

VADER on Deathfest 2004

10th of May: Conception of "The Beast"
On Monday, 10th of May VADER will enter Radio Gdansk Studio to start recording session of their new full length album entitled "The Beast". The session will run through June 6th and the band will take only one-day break to play a show along with METALLICA and SLIPKNOT in Chorzów. Peter and Daray (who is substituting for Doc) will spend first two weeks at the studio; later Mauser and Novy will join them to complete recordings. The album is going to be produced by Piotr Lukaszewski (Reign Forever World, Revelations, Blood). Limited edition of "The Beast" will feature bonus DVD with special studio report, two brand new video clips, an interview with Peter, a fragment of band's show on Polish Woodstock and other bonus stuff. More details follow soon.
