The craziest thing about all of it, is that it all serves a purpose. They REALLY have their shit together, as far as getting all that stuff to make sense and work in context with their sound.
and it's a HUGE sound. really pretty awesome. The recordings do not capture it at all. |

I helped them move everything in earlier today. Lots and lots of Ampeg 8 x 10's. Ed the drummer said that each cabinet is set to a different frequency. REALLY nice people. To quote one of the dudes here "It's going to be LOUD AS FUCK!" See you all here...gonna be fucking awesome... |

Great show!
The Midnight Ghost Train was pretty great. The singer had a Tom Waits thing going on with his voice.
I missed the Haru Bangs due to arguing with a meter maid. He still gave me a ticket.
Livver sounded nasty. I just wish the vocals were louder. Robin kicked beer off the stage and it introduced itself to my crotch.
Jucifer was just the way arktouros said, they're good on recording, even more ferocious live. |
