when there is more than one opening band playing before the national headliners, the amount of tickets sold determines what set time they are given

only playing at 6:30 at night on a weekday is real.

I don't even see the point of shows anymore, often time the negatives out weigh the bad.
Having to deal with fat balding retards all trying to nervously hit on the one or two hot nerdy metal chicks
expensive beer
having to come down off my mountain (hill) in NH
driving on the same roads shared with massholes
having to worry about the degenerates of the inner city
paying more than a couple of bucks for parking
Not hearing the couple of songs I love but having to hear everything off the new albums that suck

you just live in the wrong area for shows. worcester and boston local shows are fun as shit. i see your point about larger tours with bigger named band at places like the Palladium and large venues in Boston though. this is why i hardly go to those kind of shows anymore unless i'm obsessed with said band and refuse to miss their performance.
