Swedish progressive metallers OPETH will enter Atlantis studios (formerly Metronome studios) in Stockholm on January 31, 2011 to begin recording their tenth album for a fall 2011 release via Roadrunner Records. Jens Bogren (SOILWORK, KATATONIA, PARADISE LOST, BLOODBATH) will engineer the effort while mixing duties will be handled by Steven Wilson (PORCUPINE TREE). The new material has been described by the band as "good."
trust me, i'm no hater. when it comes to Opeth pre-Watershed i am a gay fanboy. one of my top favorite bands ever. however Watershed was mediocre at best, and i strongly doubt that this will be some miraculous return to the days of old. i hope, but my hand filled up with shit way faster.
