If anybody from worcester plans on going to this and has room for one more... I'd really like to go too! Useful Idiot is the closest I can get to seeing Tool and I'm entirely ok with that. I can throw in for tolls or gas, just cant take my car.

Hey tony, would there be any chance I could catch a ride back to Worcester with you guys? I was planning on taking the commuter rail after the show but after looking at the set times I won't even be able to catch the end of hard no.9 if I take the train

Awesome, thanks dude. Looking forward to this tonight
This was awesome. I was more than pleased to see the reasonable crowd stay right up until we finished... which really means a LOT to us; Considering that it went until MIDNIGHT on a REALLY fucking cold TUESDAY night. Hard #9 was tight as shit as usual, and i finally got to see brian show off a little (which made me a little sad that there was no drum jam, but had we done it, it would have cut into either our/Hard #9's set.)
..but yeah, i had an awesome time, and was happy to see so many friends there. Thanks guys.
Tom - another thing, is your "Boston" song supposed to be a sort of cover of the black crows song "She talks to angels" with modified lyrics? Or is it just a coincidinck?
This show was a great time. $5 bar specials are even a greater time.
Jimbo--as I mentioned to you earlier in the night, I am now Useful Idiot fan but I'm still no Tool fan. I know that makes no sense, but you guys were far more captivating to me than the real band.
Hard No. 9 is probably one of my favorite local rock bands. Good ol' fashion booze sluggin' rock-n-roll. Bravo, gents!
Useful Idiot was thoroughly awesome as usual. Love seeing those guys play, all parts come together perfectly with no one instrument overpowering another. Guitar tone and technique was spot on, the vocals always make me think I'm actually watching the real thing, the bass tone was fucking amazing and cut through so clearly I could hear every single fucking note, and of course Jimbo knows all the drum tracks backwards and forwards that its a fucking amazing experience just to watch it live.
Oh and those Hard no. 9 dudes had an amazing set as well, but not nearly enough songs about being kicked in the balls. I am disappoint, keep up the good work tho and one day you just might get kicked in the balls too!
hey now, i'm not gonna kick ANY girls ass...... unless they kick Tony in the balls in front of me....
Tim - With you not liking TOOL, i was worried you'd hate us, i'm glad you enjoyed yourself, it was great having you there. And I'm thrilled you enjoyed the music.
Alex - having another drummer say that warms the cockles of my heart. Seriously, thank you. I can't even tell you how many hours i sit listening and rewinding to parts over and over to figure out exactly what he's doing, and then being dissapointed that i can't get it right.. (rinse repeat). So just hearing that it's close enough to be entertaining is good enough for me.

no i dont believe thats a cover lol. i see a resemblance but the song structures and chord progressions are pretty different. we always get pegged with the Black Crowes comparison though no matter what we do ha.
