I went to this show. Greek shows are awesome - all ages, anyone drinks, total crowd involvement. There were a lot of kids who knew all the words to Nile's songs. At the end of the show Karl Sanders came down into the crowd and I got to shake his fat clammy hand. |

Too bad they suck huge live. I like their albums, but when i saw them at mdf08?, it was painfully bad.

Codex necro IMO is the perfect mix of grind and blackened filth. Nothing they've done since has captured the intensity of that album. Everything after has seemed far more tame and overly embellished musically. Just give me a drum machine, sloppy riffs and a dude who sounds like he's being killed. |

Blue done hit it on the head. Love that album. Not to say the others were bad records - just not as phat to mine ears. And I like it when things are phat. |

haha fair enough, that album delivers exactly that. i love Hell Is Empty, but it is definitely far more tame than the others. that's why i love Constellation, they brought more of the older gruesome sound back. |
