Too all bands possibly interested, I am trying to put together a show in benefit for Tony at the Sound Museum he is hurt bad, because of an altercation that took place last night around 9:30p If you know who Tony is you he has little too know money to pay for any hospital bills, This show will completely Benefit him and Bill "Des" Desmond of the Sound Museum.

As of right now this is just an idea, thanks too two people. but I'm hoping I can get some positive feedback on a venue and some more bands too play..

The Story goes: me and 2 friends go to shred with a bottle of bourbon whiskey 100 proof. we kill the liter and i wake up too paramedics and police with nate telling me too leave the building.. I find out today that the two friends ventured from the room destroyed the bathroom and tony heard the commotion so went to confront them and kick them out.. and it turned ugly I guess tony had a bat, and from what I was told the bat was smashed over tony's head.. needless to say my friends were arrested.

yea so far I got Blessed Offal, Nachzerher, PanzerBastard, and my band Forced Asphyxiation. hopefully more too come, I've contacted Robin too see about venue's... or if anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it.

I just wanna say I'm happy that brian's trying to do the right thing by trying to get together funds to help pay for Tonys' medical bills. Because as much as i like Brian, it was his responsibility to bring only people who he trusts into an environment that contains all of his bands/friends equipment. Depending on their criminal backgrounds, ADW doesn't neccesarily mean lengthy, if any, jail time. These 2 people involved could turn around and say that it was self defense because Tony brought the bat. While excessive force may have been used, it may be a legit defense. I don't know the exact details, only what's being posted here, but like Jim said, there can easily be a counter-suit towards the sound musuem for their security guard bringing a bat. Club baloons in providence just got their license pulled and was shut down for a similar incident. Yeah there have been a few shows in our space (Pat's show, Rmaze, etc) thing is just making sure people stay contained inside and don't spill onto the street because that's when the cops get suspicious.. Also we would need to take ''donations'' and not charge admission. It could certainly work but we'd need permission.

definitely, if anything it might actually be able to gain more funds for tony rather than taking a chunk out to pay a door fee at a venue, it just needs to be regulated so it doesnt get shut down or negatively affect the building

Sucks to hear this. When I practiced there Tony would always stop in and listen for a while. Yes he's a bit of a strange dude by normal standards but he was always nice enough and was encouraging to bands that practice there. Definitely didn't deserve this.

I would encourage this to be at a real venue of any sort for the sake of gathering a decent sized crowd/funds raised instead of in a tiny space that can't hold nearly enough people. But if no place is available then screw me with a sharp stick and let's do this space style.
