do not want.

2 compliance bushings = $550
front right wheel baring = $470
plus some other things.
lame.

What kind of car?

toggletoggle post by largefreakatzero at Jul 15,2010 9:26am
It runs on batteries.

It's a PENIS...I mean PRIUS.

Have Alex do it for you when he gets back from tour. He doesn't invent charges like some mechanics.

Fixing the front end and/or bearings sucks. It's pricey because of the labor involved

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jul 15,2010 10:21am
I already am having these done. I have a honda.
I'm going to ask alex if he could replace all my pads and rotors.

"2 compliance bushings = $550

That seems an awful lot for relatively minor work.

Who needs to go to college and train to be a lawyer or a doctor - just be a mechanic and earn more than Bernie Madeof

Should NOT be that much for the bearings.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jul 15,2010 11:53am
it's a single tire.

toggletoggle post by metal_church101  at Jul 15,2010 12:20pm
Right.

Bearings are all labor involved.

Sucks when you can't do that shit yourself.

Or go to school to learn how to spell.

Lol I was gonna but didn't.

You probably could have DIYed it with a repair manual and jack stands.

You'll only pay for parts but it will take at least 9000 hours longer than taking the car to a mechanic.

This is why only horses are real.
Less maintenance.

Only a litter is real.

Ugh. I just spent 1400 to get my new car fixed up. At least I got it for cheap at auction.

Wheel bearings rarely go bad on a honda. Either you're getting fucked or you're just unlucky. Those bushings do always go bad though.

I have a really awesome neighbor who is a mechanic and does repairs like this on the side to earn extra money. He doesn't charge much and does quality work. He fixed the bearings on a friend of mine's car not too long ago, and I don't think he charged more than $100. If you want to go the cheap route, I can give you his number. He is in Worcester, but it may be worth it if you want to save money.
