eh, never really got into her. her stalkers tape is an interesting watch however.

She is light years ahead of any other female performer. She has a perfect balance of original textured pop rhythms and completely experimental material, her ridiculous vocal patterns, and her live performances which are massive art productions where she turns the studio versions of her songs upside down. She has a knack for collaborating with world class artists, a whole library of insane music videos...did I mention that I love her? It pains me that people are comparing her to Lady Gaga. Bjork's been doing that shit for decades now and making music for people that look for something more out of what they listen to. Her previous Icelandic punk/jazz/rock bands Tappi Tíkarrass, KUKL, and The Sugarcubes kick ass too. If you're a Bjork virgin, listen to these two albums if you care about talented female singers with artistic integrity at all.
