I hope Nasa brings the scum back and it sparks the zombie apocalypse.

Little green men or GTFO.

Much like so-called dinosaur fossils and "carbon dating", this sounds like junk science to me! God is testing our faith once again. Praise his name! Palin in 2012!

pond scum - the building blocks of life as we know it.

The SUN is not a news source, it's a tabloid...the article is full of conjecture, stuff we already knew about Mars, and a random quote from some teacher.

"British physicist Stephen Hawking said this week aliens might be traveling through the cosmos right now - but he warned they might have evil intentions."

haha...

of course Mars has the possibility for all those things but...i can't find any other story about gypsum on Mars online...no shit gypsum is on Mars, it's a common Earth mineral that happens to form by bonding to water molecules....anyway, tabloids aren't news. back to my coffee and angry Dell emails

lol that Stephen Hawking special has caused such a shitstorm. My roommate brought up a good point that Hawking is probably just fucking with people for lulz.... which wouldnt surprise me since the dude has been on countless cartoons and does have a sense of humor.

haha, in A Brief History of Time he's hilarious and explains physics in a down to earth way, i recommend it to anyone, it's really no surprise he fucks with people. he can maintain physics superstar status without generating grief among other scientists because of his disability but moreso because his work in the field is unmatched.

this.

But that is a breif, semi accurate misquote. he is warning that not all alien species that ever contact us will be friendly. he believes that Independence Day's scenario is probable: dying aliens consuming resources and moving from planet to planet.
NASA held a confernce yesterday at 1:30 tht talked about 8 potential missions that will help discover microbes. one of them has to do with drilling the ice on Europa. that'd be nice.
regardless, the shapeshifters will reveal themselves shortly.

welcome to earf.

oh and Europa ftw. i've been hoping theyd look more closely into that moon for years now.

YO DID SOMEONE SAY SHAPESHIFTER?

probably closer to a couple hundred years imho.

if aliens have evil intentions, as long as Sigourney Weaver is alive i feel safe.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Apr 29,2010 10:52am
Couple hundred? Yea right.
If anything they will terraform Mars within a few hundred years. We will have bubble colonies on mars with atmosphere generators pumping out air. How do I know this? I did a ritual about it and travelled into the future.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Apr 29,2010 11:01am
can be part of your time travel ritual next time? my time travel rituals only bring me a day or two into the future and cause massive headaches, memory loss and damaged property instead of enlightenment.

long term space travel, aside from logistics issues, isn't possible without the power to fold space =[
everything is so damn far away even at lightspeed.
