Yeah the Chopping Block told me they would give me anything I want because my shows there do so well for them and they love the bands I book, plus alot of out of state bands are coming through and I want to help them out so they don't end up playing in the middle of nowhere to nobody, this way they can get some cash and hopefully sell some merch. the 21+ crowd seems to be breaking and actually buying stuff. Which is good for me to, thats where my cash comes in and allows me to print flyers to promote the shows.

i am the worst person ever for not going to this. but instead of attending the show, the rk cd has been fully recorded, final mix is getting recieved tonight, and mastering tomorrow. hope that makes up for anything. probably not. |

The Network opened up and only played a short set due to technical difficulties. It sucks cuz when they started they were killer.
Abhorred played second, and played a sick set as usual. The crowd was all over them, especially during their covers. They ended with their newer tune, Deprivation and blood was shed.
Kevorkian's Angels was in the middle and played a wicked tight set. I missed the middle of their set because I was starving, which sucks cuz I saw TEARS BURN on their play list and wanted to hear that song.
Hirudinea was on third and played awesome as well. I felt bad cuz I thought I cut their set short, but they told me I didn't. I think they get better sounding everytime I see them. I did notice the vocal thing too, that's kind of funny Mike was being electrocuted.
Watchmaker headlined this fiasco, and things were running late but the Block let me run a little longer so I didn't have to cut them short really. They played another great set as well, I can't really add anything here that wasn't already said. |
