hate spiders so much! almost as much as aliens, when i was younger i was playing in the woods and i came a cross this massive spider like 4inches big, and i thought nothing of it and i picked up the log it was on and i went to show my mother, needless to say, it bite me
kill them all subjugate! boo spiders

toggletoggle post by Kalopsia   at Apr 16,2004 12:24pm
subjugate, i think you should get an exterminator

toggletoggle post by MyDeadDoll   at Apr 16,2004 12:28pm
spiders in your house are good luck. i moved in here
with spiders everywhere on my patio in the back and
i've never had a bad thing happen with this house.

and tarantulas aren't that bad. my cousin had one as a
pet. the females are usually not aggressive. you can
pet them.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 16,2004 12:40pm
bf has a girl tarantula...when she shed her skin...sooo coool!
looked like 2 spiders

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Apr 16,2004 5:24pm
my friend had these tarantulas that got loose while i was in the room. the kind he had, if they bite you, you go into a 3 month coma. being around tarantulas has always been one of my biggest fears, but i wasn't as scared as i thought i would be. i just kind of froze while his roomate tried to get them out from under the bureau in his bare feet. damn i hate spiders.

Agreed. I shuddered pretty hard when I scrolled down across that picture.

toggletoggle post by arsonick   at Apr 16,2004 6:27pm
in the summer ive had spiders crawl pass the monitor of the pc and behind the desk, and then i lost it and not know where it went. then
it just kind of disappeaered. i get real paranoid not knowing where
a spider could be. damn little things...

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 16,2004 6:40pm
Man, I have always felt kind of paranoid about getting a spider in my bed. Imagine waking up and feeling a big ol' spider crawling up your leg??? I would flip out! I wouldn't even be able to sleep in a bed for weeks.

toggletoggle post by subjugate71 at Apr 16,2004 6:49pm
i cannot get a clear pic of the fucker in the soda bottle dammit

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 16,2004 6:52pm
Let it out and then snap a picture!

toggletoggle post by MyDeadDoll   at Apr 16,2004 11:04pm
put him in your palm and snap a pic.

toggletoggle post by DeOdiumMortis  at Apr 16,2004 11:07pm
The average person ingests 6 spiders a year whether you like it or not. Most probably sneak in while you sleep and never make it back out,

toggletoggle post by MyDeadDoll   at Apr 16,2004 11:07pm
well, we all need to get fiber somehow

toggletoggle post by Abbath at Apr 17,2004 1:05am
that's the worst feeling...when you're just about to go to sleep and you feel one run across your face!

toggletoggle post by MyDeadDoll   at Apr 17,2004 1:26am
never had one run across my face, but i've had one on my chest staring me down

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 17,2004 5:39am
On candystripe legs
The spiderman comes softly
Through the shadow of the evening
Sun stealing past the windows of the blissfully dead
Looking for the victim shivering in bed
Searching out fear in the gathering gloom
And suddenly!
A movement in the corner of the room!
And there is nothing I can do
When I realise with fright
That the spiderman is having me for dinner tonight

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 17,2004 12:28pm
Quietly he laughs and shaking his head creeps
Closer now closer to the foot of the bed
And softer than shadows
And quicker than flies
His arms are all around me and his tongue in my eyes
"Be still be calm be quiet now my precious boy don't struggle like that
or I will only love you more
For it's much too late to get away or turn on the light
The spiderman is having you for dinner tonight"

I knew that already (actually, I thought it was 10, not 6), but that doesn't bother me. If I woke up when I had a spider in my mouth, now, that would bother me.

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 17,2004 4:21pm
Hahahaha, who wrote that poem Carina?

toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Apr 19,2004 4:24pm
Ever see the Lullaby video with robert smith getting eaten by a giant spider? makes me wanna claw my eyes out
just watching it.
Jim, make sure that spider you got isn't a brown reclusive. i've read that they're spreading here. 10 minutes and you're all done.

toggletoggle post by SUBJUGATE69 at Apr 19,2004 4:59pm
it isn't i already sheckd on that

toggletoggle post by intricateprocess   at Apr 19,2004 5:05pm
spalding, what the hell is that spider, thats the grossest thing ive ever seen

toggletoggle post by MyDeadDoll   at Apr 19,2004 5:09pm
i've been listening to lullaby as it's my favorite cure song and i'm a huge dork... i apparently haven't seen the video... i don't recall...

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Apr 19,2004 5:14pm

heh

toggletoggle post by Devin  at Apr 19,2004 6:50pm
Call me eccentric, but I actually like spiders. They're kinda cool!

toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Apr 19,2004 6:51pm
thanks. what if i told you about my stevie nicks
shirt? that's in the vicintity of gayness.

toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Apr 19,2004 6:53pm
you have to consume your fear, people.
the next time you see a spider, eat it!!
it works

toggletoggle post by MyDeadDoll   at Apr 19,2004 6:53pm
i kinda like spiders to, as long as they don't bother me like other bugs do (especially the flying ones or the ones that come out of your drains when they spray the sewers)

toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Apr 19,2004 6:57pm
i have a rule with the spiders in my house. touch me and you're dead.
don't come near me, and you're ok. (hang out on the wall
all day for all i care!) unless i'm naked. then they're dead no matter what.

toggletoggle post by subjugate   at Apr 20,2004 9:04am

awww... who's friend is that?

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 21,2004 11:41pm
Fuck, Spalding, that spider you posted is making me want to die. After I saw it I looked all around my computer room, under the table and shit. Man, that is a freaky spider. I would rather wake up with a tarantula crawling on me than that thing.

toggletoggle post by TheGreatSpaldino   at Apr 21,2004 11:49pm

close up of the front of that "clock spider"

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 21,2004 11:57pm

fuuuuck...

where was that picture taken??

http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2061.html

Read that. Death from the bite of a brown recluse is pretty damn rare.

toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Apr 22,2004 12:16am
sorry. i'm just going by what a friend of mine from Georgia told me. i looked shit up on them about a year ago, when i heard they were spreading up here.
are the death rates rare because of the venom?
i thought it was because of their reclusive behavior, their "shyness"
like how a skunk would rather run away than spray

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 22,2004 12:18am
The venom isn't really that poisonous I guess. Most of the time, they don't even get a good bite. It says in there that many bites aren't felt or feel like a little pin-prick, and some aren't even noticed until hours later. But then it does say that some can be really nasty with immediate intense pain and cause a nasty blister and can become gangrenous if left untreated.

toggletoggle post by dread_104  at Apr 22,2004 12:21am
i've seen some pictures of the bites. they look horrible, almost like frostbite or something

toggletoggle post by retzam at Apr 22,2004 12:46am
Yeah, based on what I read, they usually look much worse than they are. It said something about the skin around the bite turning blue or grey and it gets really hard, like stiff leather.
