this is the rhode island stop of the tour, minus overkill. should be a good time. if everything goes well our debut full length 'casketless' should be out in time for the show.
I really dont wanna pay to get into this. Someone with contact info for woe of tyrants should tell them to guest list me for letting them stay here last time around.

awesome, that means you'll have my 8 dollars that you owe me for sneaking into my show back in 2006. see you tonight!

haha. I didnt sneak in. I was called by a member of one of the bands during the power outage and pa problem since I was familiar with the venue. I stopped in on my way home from new york and there was no one at the door since it was wicked late and there was no power.
I'll guest list you for the Unearthly Trance show on June 5th and we'll call it even.
Anyone from Worcester have room for an extra person in their car? I haven't seen Vader in a ridiculously long time. Just for once, it would be nice to not have to be the driver.
looks like I'm not making this one. So much for my going to every show...

BSV (Josh, I'm guessing?): Are you going to be in Worcester or close to it? If you're coming from Uxbridge, then you guys are still kind of a drive from my house... like 45 minutes. I appreciate the offer but I really don't wanna drive at all tonight.
pe was pretty awesome sounding. they ran from their off stage photo-shoot to an on-stage set. rockstars all arounf, but they didnt play fralties. no matter how many people in the audience yelled for it.
woe of tyrants have some really good riffs and some really awesome faces. one of these days, the singer's neck veins are going to pop and when they do, i will be there to capture it. they got a pretty good reaction from the limited number of people here.
evile was excellent. a lot of the same stage banter as the show at the palladium, but they werent overly repeadative. the singer reminds me of someone. i think it's tom arraya.
warbringers set was like the first "real" set of the night. the crowd moshed it up and stage dove. towards the end, the guys from WOT got on stage and i got ready for some end of tour shananigans, but all they did was headbang. what happened to the old days when people got covered in beer?
Awesome show was awesome. Warbringer and Vader were highlights for me, but all the bands were faaaaaantastic. So happy I have the day off tomorrow...made it that much sweeter.
at one point during vader's set, someone stepped on or hit or peter hit some pedal wrong, and it immediately sounded like that "got shredded" youtube. plink plink plop. or when you mess up on rock band.
what happened to the old days when people got covered in beer?
Some d-bag covered me in a full drink on purpose during god dethroned. Thanks dood, your $6 tasted great. Cry about it.
Weird, I had some D bag run into me and spill my beer all over myself. I was just in the back watching the merch at the time, not anywhere close to the front. So I threw my drink on him and got another one. I drank for free so it's not like it cost me any money. I don't care but if you fucking run into me when I'm in the back, completely out of your way except to get covered in a drink. Don't like it then don't run into me.
Still can't get over how fast and powerful the Vader drummer was. That had to be the tightest death metal set I've seen, even soaring above Origin last time they played Club Hell. When the PA cut out for a few seconds every hit was still pounding my chest. Where do they find these guys.
Well, I don't really care...free beer. At least it was blue moon or sam summer. So it was GOOD beer we got drenched in.
This was my first show using the Line 6 Spider Valve head (it's actually a lot better than you're probably thinking) and I forgot my floorboard, instrument and speaker cables and power switch. I get a head so I can have a lead channel and I can't switch to it...awesome. Even better is the reason I forgot them.
I brushed my teeth Saturday night before I heard you weren't supposed to and totally was throwing up all morning yesterday...this morning I'm shitting my brains out...fuuuuuck
Hey Aaron, who was your friend snapping pictures? He took a few right in my face and I wanted to check them out. hah.
All in all that show was really solid. Never heard PE before but I definitely liked their sound, would check out when that CD is out. A bigger moshier crowd would've been preferred, not enough heads to jump on last night. haha. Such a fun show though.

and VADER didn't play Xeper :(
If they had, I would have smashed my camera and given everyone wet willies.

Pretty sure the subs and stage monitors stayed on the few times the mains cut out. Also the drummers kick pedals are ridiculous. Custom made. Can't find any info about them online. Tempted to post pics.
I thought the dude drumming for vader was blasting like a little girly man a lot of the time IMO. Granted they were FAST blasts, but I've seen dudes nail them way better in the past 59234 times I've seen them.
I calls em like I sees em blue, guy was a beast either way. Precise straight up-and-down stick motion, not one missed hit, did not sacrifice power for speeds I don't even want to play at. Fat guys can drum too. Couldn't show up in time to catch you guys play, I showed up during Evile. Thumbs down for them but Warbringer surprised me.
