20th ANNIVERSARY TOUR
BAND TO PERFORM LANDMARK ALBUM IN ITS ENTIRETY
TO HIT THE ROAD WITH TESTAMENT AND EXODUS
BEGINNING MARCH 1
New York, NY: The mighty Megadeth will join forces with Testament and Exodus for a month-long jaunt that will find these thrash titans crisscrossing the nation on the ‘Rust in Peace’ 20th anniversary tour. Megadeth’s latest, ENDGAME, was released in September 2009 and received some of the highest critical accolades of the band’s career. The band performed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and was nominated for yet another Grammy – the eight nomination of their storied career- for “Head Crusher.” Megadeth also enjoyed heaps of praise in the press, from outlets as varied as New York to Revolver to VH1’s “That Metal Show” to PopMatters. With ENDGAME, Megadeth have once again ascended to the top of the metal world.

Why didn't he do an anniversary tour for "So Far, So Good... So What!"?
It is my ardent wish to someday start SHITHEAD: A tribute to scumbag era Megadeth. We'll cover only Killing, Peace Sells, and SFSGSW tracks exclusively.
Qualifications to join:
1) Anyone who is sxe cannot and would not want to be involved in this
2) Must have at least 6 + years of alcoholism under your belt
3) Enjoying opiates and/or cocaine isn't necessarily a requisite
4) Forget about #3, it totally is
5) Must have an unhealthy interest in nuclear devastation's
6) If you pull over for cops, don't even waste my time

Fix'd.
Dave needs that pretty boy Jeff Young back. Literally the yang to his yin. It would also help if he resumes mainlining heroin and painting the devil on the wall.

Hi my name is dreadkill and I think katatonia is a better band than megadeth in every way shape and form. |
hahahahahahaha, great post |
pat hook me up with tickets if there is a new england date haha |
I for one fucking LOVE Rust in Peace. As a whole it's easily one of the best thrashing albums ever. I'd like to see tracks off of So Far So Good too but Peace Sells is just OK IMO...
I don't think I told anyone and I forgot who was there, but Dave M.'s sister was in #212 a few weeks ago. I told her "I wish my two friends were here to chew your ear off" and "I wish I was a fan so I could be impressed". Good times. |
and how cute is that cat? |
You're just jealous. Also, she was pretty hot. |
I might be a tad jealous if her name was actually Dave and she wrote all of those glorious riffs. |
I'm pretty sure this is it for dates, unfortunately. I'm seriously considering hitting the Scranton date. |
Jay, am I missing the joke here? Explain... |

Jay, am I missing the joke here? Explain... |
No joke, I am totally serious. I forgot who was with me (Slar or Ross maybe?), but Sevon (you know him right? Worked at The Church for awhile. Known him since I was 14) brought her to #212 when we met up after the Model closed. I just totally spaced on telling anyone. |
For the record, this all occurred during REM sleep. The line between dreams and reality are starting to blur.
Yeah, WTF? Ross would have told me and Slar would have been slarring about it non stop if he was there...
are you sure you didnt smoke crack with you new friends that night?
and, yes, I know Savon. He's good people. |
Dude, she looks like Bette Midler with a decent rack. |
Hahaha, I fucking swear it. Ask Savon next time you see him. I just cannot remember for the life of me who was there besides me and Savon. |
That pic is of the chick from Nashville Pussy...
Jay is that pic the same chick that was in our room?
no no no, I was just looking for an awkward male/female picture. This shit is getting weird maaaaaaan. |
It should be noted that Mustaine has had a stalker claiming to be his sister for a while now... |
From what I can barely remember, she kinda did look like him, being ginger and all. She was also WAY younger. |
I think I'm gonna go to the Buffalo show. Wtf, I could have walked, terribly drunk, from some alley in Lowell to the show on the 14th. |
New Email:
"The American Carnage Tour will mark the first time that Slayer, Megadeth and Testament will have toured the U.S. together since 1991's epic "Clash of the Titans" tour, making this truly a "must-see" event.
Slayer recently announced the rescheduling of its headline tour in the UK and Europe, and Megadeth and Testament are currently on tour together playing U.S. cities that will not be on the American Carnage itinerary. "
Dates are announced too. It says they're playing the Tsongas Arena in Boston, MA. Dumbasses. |
i dont think jay would make this up, i believe him, but i think this girl is probably the one whos full of shit |
and im only going to this show if mustaine promises to start doing blow again |
I'm only going if he promises to cover Alice Cooper, again. |
Ellefson is doing this tour.
I noticed there are no Ne/NY dates but then I remembered I saw the actual Rust in Peace tour and stopped caring. |
Dude, I just saw this, that's fuckin tits! Thanks man. |
