I have 65hrs to kill off before the end of the year. thursday @5pm I leave work and dont come back until 1/4.

I get from 1:00 on the 24th until January 4th off, paid, and not counting towards my sick days, personal days, or vacation days.

I've done it every year for the past 3 years, haha. I find it kind of relaxing to take 2 weeks off without having to worry about anything.

We're closed 24th,25th, 31st + 1st. I'm taking the 3 days off in between. Win.

I have 50 hours earned time left and I have taken two vacays this year. I need to think of something to use them with besides calling in hungover.

I can't wait until next year to finally get paid time off. In all my 26.5 years on this planet, I have never had paid time off.

Same here, only we have the 24th to the 4th of Jan. It would be nice if they told us we were taking forced vacation before I took a week and a half off in October.

my dad's work does that too. he's been there for so long and they do a 5/9 week so he gets ever other friday off anyhow and never has to use days off.

oh and my company also did away with carrying days over. before they did that, I had 200hrs banked up.

All my sick time will carry over to next year and will continue to add up regardless of the fact that I treat sick time like vacation time.
