This was a goddamn great show. Wehwalt was just fucking primal. Bilingual blasphemies y rape pep rally en espanol with fist-pumping riffs galore. I'd say this will be a band to watch as they mature, but they'll only degenerate into further primitivism. Katahdin took for fucking ever to set up. Serious gingerdicking. Decent set, though. Mythology was pretty rad. The singer / guitarist rocked a Kramer flying V and the drummer hit like a fucking caveman. I give them credit for not setting the drunken octogenarian on fire. True gentlemen. Darkwor was an absolute fucking treat. Oppressive atmosphere, over the fucking top performances from each member and space-age smoking paraphernalia. Cannot fucking wait for my faggot band to start playing again so we can make Satanisms and sodomies and bro down in the old fashion. Love these dudes on many levels. Fires of Old kind of got the shaft having to go on so late, but they delivered the goods so well that bitches were compelled to fight. Foxy boxing = cherry on top. Cool venue. Dollar drafts. Good friends. Great time. One of my favorite "local" shows in a long fucking time. If you weren't there, you fucking missed out. All glory and honor to Connor, Gabe, Steve, John and the Darkwor guys - a pleasure to meet the rest of you. And guitarist Steve, you sir, are a motherfucker.
i try to take care of gas money as best I can. i gave the bands from the worcester area $40 and the guys from upstate new york a bit more. since we dont charge at the door I dont end up making anything but as of the last show theyr giving me enough to compensate the bands for gas/food
