Texan instrumentalists Explosions In The Sky have begun the writing process for their next album, however, the band apparently intends to proceed at a deliberate pace.
Explosions In The Sky comments: "Other than the upcoming ATP Festival, we don't have any shows planned and we probably won't for quite some time. We're getting back to work on writing a new record. We wish we could announce some sort of tentative release date, but that's pretty much impossible at this point. We can say with some confidence that it's probably going to be awhile."
The group's last album, "All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone," hit stores in 2007.

I more than like this band. |
|
How Strange Innocence is still my favorite. Best atmosphere, but their least professional.
This band catches me in moods often, but can get boring quickly. |

Minus all the grim points I've already lost times that amount for me admitting to having a secret boner for this band. |

I haven't listened to these guys in literally forever. I thought their last album was fantastic but often times just don't have the patience anymore for them or Godspeed! Maybe a new album will fix this. |

The new Braveyoung CD just leaked. Figured I'd post it here while all the post-rock types are collected in a thread. I'm halfway through it. Sounds good, but it hasn't really climaxed as hard as the EP did yet. |
