I'll have to check that out, first person accounts from soldiers in recent wars are always wicked intriguing.
Another great one: "The Taliban and the Crisis of Afghanistan"
Details the cultural/ethnic makeup and history of Afghanistan, when and where the Taliban actually came from and their internal power structures and factions. Also examines post-2001 Taliban and the transformation they've gone through.
