the other thread made me realize how out of the loop I am with electronic music now. list some of your favorites or some of the albums/musicians that go under the radar. there's tons of them.
that girl is probably out of college now and hasn't done any thing in 10 years and now couldn't fight off a sober rich horror.

I dabbled in fast tracker... i started with goldwave and Rebirth... went through a hardware phase... since then... i'm a Reaper and Fruity Loops XXL guy... I have hardware too..
Anyone wanna do a collab song? a little back and forth action?
i've been tracking music since the mid 90s and still use it. I can't find anything as versatile as tracking was. it's really outdated by today's standards but it's always a blast.
there was a HUGE euro-tracking scene back from '92-'98 with numerous artists. some of them were incredible, not sure where they are now
I have been on a serious Arovane kick for the last year. It's like if Autechre slowly evolved after making albums like Chiastic Slide or LP5 instead of getting all weird on us. (not knocking any of the less melodic Autechre albums, I love em all, especially Untilted)
Cool story bro, Just check out Arovane.

Discovered this the other day-
Aglaia - Three Organic Experiences
If you like ambient music, it's a must hear. Or you're a pussy.

I have to relate to the general populous of RTTP somehow. "When in Rome, act like a Roman, or you are a pussy"

been listening to A LOT of psytrance lately.... mainly D Maniac's new album while i play League of Legends because it goes with the ass kicking flow. shit is bad ass.
I'm NOT gonna go through this whole thread to see if someone else said it, but if you haven't checked out "Tipsy" yet then.... you should. It's Trevor Dunn from Mr. Bungle. It's weird, tripped-out, semi-ambient. I love it.
Apparat - Walls : Glitchy introspective, sometimes bleak IDM pop.
Eluvium - Similies : My personal favorite album of 2010. Warm, comforting, trance inducing. Eternal and Ethereal are words that come to mind while listening.
What do you think of the new velvet acid christ album? what i heard didn't really win me over. Hex is great and I like most of what I've heard from the older albums.
I'll check it out later. No sound @ work. Looks cool.

Autechre - Draft 7.30 ... not sure why I skipped over this album in their catalog, but is definitely a master-work. I'm really enjoying their more abstract sounding albums lately. Dudes are pure genius.

Another IDM album I heard pretty recently that I dug was Ochre's Lemodie.
(yes I know the stuff I posted right above this is not IDM, I was looking at Slag's first post when I wrote this as I am a fan of Venetian Snares, Squarepusher, Boards of Canada, etc.)
