It looks like no one else has seen it yet, so I'll make the first thread. I already post all my gripes on another site, so I'll keep this short. I hate that its called DOTD. The zombies were terrible. Terrible characters/character development. Don't rush out to see this, catch a matinee if you have nothing to do.

i'm gonna see it anyway. i'll learn my lesson on my own.

even though there was no character development, it was still a pretty good movie... it's a zombie flick, not fuckin titanic.

equally as good as 28 days later, maybe even better because the camera style in 28 days later was kind of amateurish. DOTD just jumped into the action right off.

Zombie shoot 'em ups can be really good or really bad, depending on what mood you were in. I thought Resident Evil was really good (although I wish it followed the storyline of the game instead of going its own little mindless dazzle of undergroundness).

I only cared about the characters and shit because it was DOTD.

The thing that made the original DOTD so good was the charecters and how they were able to get along and shit. 28 Days Later sucked so much ass! As Impetigo said "The horror's gone big budget's here, what ever happened to the meaning of fear?"

All the zombies in DOTD were just like the ones in 28 Days Later. I didn't like that at all.

ok, the girl at the beginning on the skates sounded like one of the voices on the GIJoe comercials.

the Cash song at the beginning... the disturbed louge cover.. um.. ok... don't worry be happy was excellently placed.

when they were heading for the mall, all I could think of was silent hill 3... especially with the blonde that looked like uma.

it's awesome that d0rks have influenced the world soooooo much that they were using whiteboards to talk back and forth. I'm going to start using white boards instead of AIM'ing at work.

carina noticed that on the table one of the boxes said PFK instead of KFC. which means it was in montrael not wisconsin.

Jim Carroll Band

People who died is one of my favorite songs

I noticed the PFK thing too, but I didn't know it had anything to do with Canada, kinda cool.

I did enjoy the stuff between Kenneth and Andy, although I didn't like what happened to them.

Did you watch all of the credits? That shit was pretty cool.

What do you mean, "Heading to the mall", they turned around and it was right there.

i thought it was pretty good, i pretended it wasnt a re-make. liked the gore, liked pretty much all of it. i wish there was more close up zombie attacks, where the characters got ripped to pieces. and their innards and stuff got ripped out. couldve done without the stupid girls behind me that kept screaming every time something happened. i think they mustve snuck in from confessions of a teenage drama queen. 8 1/2 out of 10.
