I forgot how good Dawn's "Slaughtersun" album is. Criminally under rated album.

A friend of mine found Slaughtersun at Newbury Comics for 20 bucks. What the fuck is that? Shit goes for at least $50 on the net & ebay

I can't understand why that album has not been re issued but I am gonna go ahead and blame it on jewish people nonetheless...

dawn is one of the best CDs that necropolis put out.

I think there's talks about re-releasing it. I do know that they recently got back together and "are working on a new album."

When they got back together in 2007, they released a video for THE KNELL AND THE WORLD, arguably the best song on that album. But the video kind of sucks.

I'd only want a re-issue of Slaughtersun if it has bonus tracks. Otherwise, I'm content with my QvLt copy.

Also, another Swedish gem, Vinterland's "Welcome my Last Chapter" is now being reissued and they are working on a new album as well.

One other Swedish band I was hoping to release a new album was Embraced. Not too many people dig them and their heavy use of keys, but I fucking love their 1st album. They were rumored to get back together as well but not anymore.

Falcula = My favorite track from that. Pure violence.

Vinterland has been taking their sweet time with that follow up. I'm still highly anticipating it.

Yet another Swedish band that I wish got back together is Mithotyn. Falconer just doesn't cut it for me. Back back Mithotyn, bitches. I somehow found the original pressing of King of the Distant Forest in Philadelphia. I guess that's been reissued once or twice and the original is somewhat harder to find.

That album and Gathered Around the Oaken Table. Wonderful stuff.

So many good bands that I wish either released new stuff, got back together, or whathaveyou.

I think everything Mithotyn released was awesome. Even the first album, which I only have on my computer.

Outside of Sweden, I'm highly anticipating Sad Legends new album. South Korean black metal. S/T release is one of a kind and literally goes for well over $100 on ebay.

How could you not love it, really? Scandinavia, as a whole, has been a breeding ground for so many killer bands.
