New site? Maybe some day.
I highly recommend it if you own an xbox 360 and were a fan of KOTOR/Fallout 3. Graphics are awesome, game play is really engaging, the dialogue really determines how the game plays out which really immerses you in the world. |
THIS GAME IS LEGIT - One of my favs of all time. I fucking love this game. An actual engaging RPG with amazing combat and epic story. So much attention to detail. You can get it for under 20 bucks now, what the hell are you doing, go get it. The sequel is out in a few months. |
PUNCH REPORTERS, BONE ALIENS, SMUGGLE GOODS FOR A JELLYFISH...SAVE THE GALAXY |
actually yeah that sums it up pretty well |
great game, WORST DLC EVER.
ME:2 in December, looks like its going to be fucking badass. |
ENTHUSIASTIC STATEMENT, THIS GAME IS WELL WORTH PURCHASING
DEPRECIATIVE REMARK, MUCH BETTER THAN FAGGY FABLE 2 |
Hands down, this game is the balls. |
system shock 2 is better. |
main quest is sick. The side quests are lacking. They all have the same area. I. E. all space ships are the same, all bases are the same, all mines are the same ect... |
yeah, most of the remote planets you went to all had the same formula. That's why I didn't bother finding all the insignias, space trash, or whatever else you could collect. i usually don't bother with side quests in general unless there's an actual benefit and not some stupid gamer points. |
which brings to mind achievement points: what a fucking cop out on a reward system and a stupid ploy to get obsessive people to play your game longer. |
its like the Fable 2 side quests. i got pretty fucking sick of chopping wood, forging swords, serving drinks, and killing beetles and bandits when i was an ultra-powerful Shadowfiend. |
I'm playing ME2 right now... |
As much enjoyment as I've got out of the series (I tend to think of it as a really well written interactive SF movie) it just emphasizes that a SF RPG with ME's scope and Oblivion/Fallout's open ended design would be incredible. |
I agree 100%
I want a Star Wars game done oblivion/fallout style (graphically speaking and payability / totally open) but imagine having multiple planets/galaxies you can fly to and explore and each planet has a whole new map / missions/quests etc to do...
I mean the game would be HUGE but it'd be fucking epic. |
but yeah: ME2 has tons of lame talking and movie sequences...SHUT UP AND LET ME KILL SHIT. |

you need a good PC though! |
way too cartoony
I played both KotORs |
yeah they did go in a cartoon art direction with that. i know i'm not going to play it. i will play the fuck out of mass effect 3 though. they say they are putting a lot more open-ended exploration into that. |
Basically I want to be able to rp an interstellar assassin or even just be a nirnroot collecting botanist fag if I wanted to. |
I'm liking ME2 the more I play
at first it didnt seem very open because you have to recruit these dudes for you team and you have to do certain missions to get them but now that I have them all, they all bring their own personal missions to the table so you can really pick and choose where you want to go and what you want to do...and the unexplored planets are fun... |
yeah, the last mission rules. someone will probably die. a lot of the choices and loyalties you make will carry to the third game. |
i try to be a nice guy but I'm stern in my decision making...i'm impatient so I just pick the least prying answer sometimes too. |
the good/evil system is very one-sided, you have to be almost 100% consistent in either path to get the commanding blue/red responses later in the game. i guess mixing up responses throughout the game doesn't do much for ya. (played through it twice) |
mass effect 3 is out today. downloaded and played it last night and first impression is it's just better in every way. character skills are better, combat is better, level design is (so much) better, conversations are more awkward, space is bigger.

I only got like 60% through ME2...lost interest after a while...it was kinda the same thing over and over again.
Not sure how excited I am for ME3 unless a lot has changed. |
No care. This game is dumb and overrated. |
BUT YOU'RE AZN, AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO PLAY IN A CAFE UNTIL YOU DIE? |
Dance Dance Revolution only. |

I'd say finish ME2 first, because you can import your character. And because fuck spending $60+ for this game, wait until it's cheaper. EA can blow me with their paid DLC crap and no gamepad support on PC. I'm gonna play this like I stole it tonight just to spite aril and timma because they're dumb and overrated/azn. |
you are so boring to Mass Effect. |
i've sat through infinity hours of star trek, i don't get bored easily. |
Star Trek is great. ME was linear. |
I beat ME2 yesterday...last "level" or final boss or whatever you wanna call it was super easy.
Might snag ME3 used when prices drop. |
DEPRECIATIVE REMARK, PALETTE SWAPPING SHOULD HAVE DIED WITH ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT 3.
SARCASTIC REMARK, COOL ENDING BRO |

i can't recall the end boss at all, which means it sucked. i still remember me1's boss.
I had different problems with both games. But they were both good enough for me to put up with the dialogue. probably wouldn't play again, but glad i did. not really playing video games anymore(no time) but i feel obligated to play three. |
