The one time I saw Twodeadsluts Onegoodfuck, they played for a total of about 3 minutes and part of that set involved pulling me out of the crowd and kissing me on the cheek.

but, you SHOULD probably put a RI grind band on a show thats in RI with grind bands.

We are working to fit Suffering Bastard in.
As it is there are 8 bands on this pending confirmation.
People will be complaining about that I'm sure.
I'm willing to do 9 bands and this show will have plenty of time, but I really don't feel like adding a band people want... then people complaining there's wayyy too many bands.
Got to take care of some of my friend's bands too...
That being said Suffering Bastard and Twodeadsluts splitting a set would work out the same amount of time due to what they play...
If people aren't going to object to this we can do this.
Also Sexcrement not playing (I do want them on) would put the show back at 8 bands too.

Majority of people on here before said the show wouldn't draw enough with just those bands and convinced me to feel similarly.
I put some friend's on to ensure they'll be plenty of people there and so that the show could still happen and be a success.
If people don't want to see the openers that's fine... come at 8 (or whenever) and show up for what you want to see.
Nobody is forcing you to come to the whole thing and I lined it up on purpose with bands people wouldn't want to see on here first (early in the night too).
why dont you ask blue to help make a solid one, oh yeah and dont make this a fest.

If I were promoting this I'd be making sure it gets promoted well out of town, there's your draw. Most of the crowd will probably be Massholes.

As of right now it's looking likely they will play.
8 bands is what I do usually for shows, granted I know that's longer than a lot of shows, but like you said shows start later with 6 bands.
It comes to the same thing timewise... over by 11:30ish, not bad at all.
Like I said people can come whenever if they don't want to see the openers, hence why I posted set times.

I heard Dysentery can draw to Providence hence why I put them on the show, and same with wanting Sexcrement because I heard they do well here too.
It doesn't matter where people come from, as long as they come.
Definitely will promote all around as much as I can though.

Of course I care about the locals I put on, only bands I have personal ties too.
I meant it as I wouldn't do the show without them and if that's such a problem to anyone that I'm adding more bands then I meant it as a suggestion to come later.
Obviously I'd rather people stay beginning to end, but that's not the case with how shows run, albeit how I'd like them to be.
I was merely pointing out the obvious that nobody has to come the whole show if they don't care to see other bands.
People can do whatever they want in regards to coming or not coming, but the show will go on and it will be a solid show. I tried to put the bands people on here wanted to see on it the most and help out some friends. Can't please everyone.

Yeah 6PM is early and I'm well aware that 8 bands is a lot, but that's generally what I like to do. A lot of bands asked me to play this and a few were close personal friends so I gave them short opening sets rather than starting at 8. I really have been promoting this hard and will continue to and I know the bands are too so hopefully it's a huge show. Hope you can make it.
