since the flood: arg! My camera was messing up focusing over and over and over again.. I missed almost every dave patented jump. Damn it. This was pretty awesome to see as a last set. Chuck seems born to be up there in front of them so I was happy to see them playing all together again. I couldn't tell any song apart. The photopit sounds terrible. Word from the flood er... Floor is that the sound is excellent in the crowd. While trying to follow along with 24k, I got lost in the muddiness of the room. These guys are the reason im at this show. Otherwise, I would be somewheres else. I've seen these guys since geisel was on bass. Good times.

emmure: kids were really into them. They have more schwag that any other band ever. I was really tempted to put the E on all my pictures.

sick of it all: they ruled. I couldn't hear most of what the guy was saying, but im going to assume it was a lot about how long they have been around and how old they are. 20+ years and they have the smallest banner on the bill.

Emmure was the worst band I've ever seen in my life. Anyone could have played that bullshit. The drummer and bassist seemed bored by their own music.

Its fucking stupid how all of these fucking kids are into Emmure and then SOIA comes on and everyone stands around like "Uhhh how are we supposed to dance to this?!?!?!"

every time i die: they played what seemed like a lot of stuff from hot damn. Also, every member of that band is extemely good at spitting way up in the air and then catching it while they play.

Upstairs, a kid showed me his lack of front tooth. He had the tooth in his pocket. Someone's got a hard won dollar last night from the toothfairy.

unearth: yeah, they had a replacement for buz cause he was with his wifey in europe. They had their normal shenanigans. Beer bong, running around, jumping, playing behind their head, etc... My pictures all came out terrible. I got pissed and left for the other show.

Why all the hate for Emmure? They blew the fucking place up, brutal breakdowns. Personally, I thought they were the best of the night other then Since The Flood. And I mean, im not going to say Sick of It All was bad, its just not my genre.

I think that a lot of younger kids "get" emmure like a lot of older kids "get" sick of it all. Where I was sitting, Emmure was the most painful out of all the bands. They are all low end and it killed me through my earplugs. Did I mention the sound in the front was terrible?

Hahaha, im not a fake poster. Im just saying, Emmure has some fucking sick breakdowns. While they might not be complicated or hard to play, i think they are brutal as all hell. Soia is too old school for my liking? Too fast, vocals too fast, but i mean, nothing against them its just not what im into. Everyone always gets on Emmures ass for not being original and shit. I mean yeah the riffs is simple, but frankies vocals are amazing. I guess im the only one.

Are you serious? While I do dig some beatdown hardcore bands, Emmure is really fuckin boring. It's like how Throwdown and Bury Your Dead suddently woke up one day and decided to sound like the rapechild of Sevendust and Pantera minus the playing ability. BORING
Sick Of It All are legends of Hardcore and I have never seen them play a bad set EVER. I've been to enough shows were they have sent crowds big or small completely over the edge and everyone had a blast.

But can you ATLEAST agree that Emmure and Sick Of It All are OBVIOUSLY different genres of music. I mean yes, while they are legends, the music they play does not appeal to me. I mean sure, Madonna is a legend of pop, but i still fuckign hate her, because i dont like the genre she plays. Emmure might not be LENGENDS but I atleast enjoy what they play.

STF and SOIA were great. Had a ton of fun at this show.

First off, this is an opinion and I completely respect everyone else's here so try not to freak out.

I honestly don't care what other people like/listen to but really don't see the appeal to so many of these bands (like Emmure/Parkway Drive/ and sorry guys even Since The Flood based on what I saw Saturday etc etc) that find their way on good tours. I'm sorry if this offends anyone but how do you form a real opinion on a band who offer the exact same thing as 10 bands that just played before them (song structure, the screamer, the breakdown, the between song banter, even the guitar tones are exact!)?

Again, everyones got their musical tastes and by no means are mine perfect, but I am at a complete loss for ideas as to why someone could possibly say that Emmure offer something Sick Of It All does not other than sounding exactly like the first however many bands that played on Saturday.

I do believe the guy in booty shorts was Jordan from Every Time I Die. Also seeing that kid get clobbered during Unearth by security was absolutely the most hysterical thing I've seen at any show ever. What makes it even better is I'm pretty sure right before that song Trevor said something along the lines of "this is your microphone, this is your stage".
