I don't live in Somerville anymore and it breaks my heart daily. I'm back in New Bedford without a job. The club and I are psyched on this show, will be a fun/good one.
Just so all you guys know, there is a non-musical charity event tonight at O'Briens until 9. So you won't be able to load in until 9 pm. I'm gonna send this out to everyone's MySpace and Facebook to be sure, but just so you know.
This New Year, join us in a resolution to raise facial hair and funds! 826 Boston's First Annual Moustache-a-thon challenges you to enter your upper lip into a competition of follicular strength. Our goal is to raise $20,000 to support our free tutoring and writing programs by enlisting 50 moustache-growers whose weekly progress is sponsored by generous pledges.
Register now to participate by growing a traditional moustache or crafting a non-traditional moustache!
The opening event will be on Monday, February 2, at 7 pm at O'Brien's Pub in Allston. More info at 826bostonmoustacheathon.blogspot.com or contact moustache [at] 826boston.org.
Mr. Barker is correct. I did this because the charity thing already paid for the room so whatever the show makes from the door all goes to the bands instead of the club taking the usual cut YOU'RE FUCKING WELCOME.
mr. horror I'd never doubt you. I was just making sure the trek to allston wouldn't be wasted. But I'll be there as I'm on my way right now. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for you.
hey rich, in all seriousness, is there club/van parking? I know there's street parking but do they block it off for vans? Or first come first serve there? Only been once and had to get dropped off.
I would live park, unload gear and then find parking. Do not park in the parking lot next to the asian hair salon or the U-Haul wannabe place or you'll get towed.
