the most junk in yer trunk you can have!! |

Silence in Shadows: they were decent metalcore. Like most of the bands (excluding hyeo), they are wicked young. I walked in during one of their first songs. They had to borrow a bass cab for some reason in the middle of their set.
Upon My Arrival: rocky start, but solidified after a couple songs. Again, moshy metalcore, young kids (insert me making fun of hyeo's advanced age again). They also hail from hampstead NH which is most notably the home of richard berret. One day, I belive my freshmen year of school (though it could have been earlier though I don't know how cause hampstead and derry don't mix until 9th grade), I went to his house after school with out telling my mom. I thought I was going to get so grounded, but grounded myself before they could and spent the weekend shooting baskets in the yard instead of watching TV. It was ok cause I don't think we had cable then. Oh, the drummer had a PA Astros shirt on. I thought astroman would come out during their set, but jocks don't like metalcore this year besides devildriver. |
Yesterday’s Heroes: they were different. I like that cause shows aren't suppose to be all the same sorts of bands. They sounded like old drunk punk not too bad. They were really tight and I guess have ben together for a lot longer than most bands on this stage.
Silent Distortion: from Derry NH. I immediately txt'd my mom cause she probably knew these kids if they went to south range. They were like big d and the kids table. Different from most shows that I go to.
the songs that were played on the PA after SD made this place a dance party until the guy controlling the songs kept skipping after a couple seconds of a song. |
could someone tell me what the electronic + screamo was? I think I could get gay for that. |
maybe that was and there as no
HYEO: there were kids there that actually moshed to them. The world has gone upside down on me... Wtf?!? Moshers for empty orchestra.. Will wonders never cease? Slap my ass and call me sally. shiver me timbers. crazy. |
lyson: I think that drummer was in some other band like chapter 50. They were pretty crazy. The kind of set that ends in pure chaos. Everytime I looked up, on of the 2 people video taping the set were videoing me doing something like picking my nose, scratching my ass, or licking the tops of waterbottles so the person gets my cold.
During this show, someone came up to me and said "my grandfather has the same camera as you" im sure he is cause he's the coolest grandfather ever. He and I also probably went to the same highschool and hung out at ye olde wendy's on crystal ave in dirty derry. We sit around and talk about how different places used to be all apple orchards. |
pictures are processing and uploading hella slowly. |
hey man the electronic + screamo was a band called attack attack and the song they played is called stick stickly.
what did you think of the yueh betrayal? |
tyb had the singer from chapter 50. I thought that elyson had their drummer, but I looked at pictures and was wrong. Short set, the music was pretty good, but I was busy watching the blood gushing from the bassplayers face. Funny cause what he did to get that injury was something that myself and nick (HYEO) were talking about before the their set. One of the songs was more like um.. typ-o negative influenced than unearth. slower, different singing. I also find bands who's drummers can't sit still more interesting to shoot than ones where the drummer just sits there like a drumming machine. Their drummer stood up a bunch. |
thanks man. im actually the drummer of tyb. lol. did you see or hear anything as far as the music and stage precence u think should be changed or anything? |
rocko's isn't known for sounding good. the only thing was it was bit short. I think you guys only did 3 songs or something like that. |
we played 6 songs. lol.
they were:
Victims
a lean night
battle of the elements
angel eyes and demon smiles
clouds to witness
ghost |
weird, seemed like it was over quickly. |
angel eyes and demon smiles was the track I referenced above. |
yea. some of the songs are kinda quick. those are just the 6 we have done. paul just joined the band. |
kenny (our bassist) got 12 stitches from that hit tonight. haha |
yeah, funny that his bass didn't show blood, but the guitarist stage left's guitar looks like it's got blood on the top cause of the red paint. |
haha. yea. but. i dont know if you remember. but we used to be called never the next day. we kicked out our singer for paul. you covered a couple of our old shows with him. (exodus, psyopus and i think suffocation) |
Hope to see you at the next show!
-Paul P
The Yueh Betrayal |
